The focus of ISF Commercial is to establish standards by which displays of all types are properly calibrated relative to the applications and environments in which they reside. By working with display manufacturers to better understand the degree of calibration that is necessary, ISF Commercial will award selected products the “ISF Commercial: Engineered for Calibration” product certification. This means that a qualified calibration technician will be able to configure a manufacturer’s display for peak performance, long life, energy savings, and the best total cost of ownership. This will be a clear differentiation between products with rudimentary adjustments versus full calibration.
